Booking a Transfer

Customers can request or arrange a transfer through our website, booking form, WhatsApp, telephone or email.

When making a booking, you must provide correct information, including where relevant:

  • Passenger name and contact details
  • Pickup address
  • Destination
  • Travel date
  • Pickup time
  • Flight number
  • Number of passengers
  • Number and size of luggage items
  • Child-seat requirements
  • Any special travel requirements

Please check your booking information before confirming your journey.

A booking becomes confirmed when Transfer Malaga Costa accepts the booking and sends confirmation or otherwise confirms the journey with you.

Prices and Payment

We aim to provide clear prices before travel. The price confirmed for your booking applies to the journey described in your booking confirmation.

Unless we tell you otherwise, the quoted price covers the agreed transfer and any items specifically stated as included in your booking.

The website states that standard quotations may include tolls and taxes. Customers should check their booking confirmation for the exact price and included services.

Payment methods and payment timing will appear during the booking process or will be explained when the booking is confirmed.

Extra costs may apply if you request a material change to the original journey, such as:

  • An extra stop
  • A different destination
  • A significant route change
  • Extra waiting outside the included waiting period
  • A larger vehicle because passenger or luggage information was incorrect

We will explain applicable extra charges where reasonably possible before providing the additional service.

Airport Pickups and Flight Delays

For airport pickups, please provide your correct flight number.

Transfer Malaga Costa may use flight information to monitor expected arrival times and plan airport pickups. The website currently states that flight monitoring forms part of the airport transfer service.

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if:

  • Their flight number changes
  • Their flight is cancelled
  • They miss their flight
  • They travel on a different flight
  • Their arrival airport changes

Flight monitoring does not remove the customer’s responsibility to provide correct travel information.

Waiting Time

The website currently states that airport pickups include a complimentary waiting period of approximately 30 to 35 minutes.

Any additional waiting arrangements or charges should follow the terms confirmed with the customer at the time of booking.

Please contact us if immigration, baggage collection or another issue causes a long delay after your flight arrives.

Meeting Your Driver

For airport pickups, meeting instructions may include a designated meeting point or an arrivals-area meeting.

Keep the contact number used for your booking available after landing.

If you cannot find your driver, contact Transfer Malaga Costa before leaving the agreed meeting area or arranging alternative transport.

Passenger and Luggage Capacity

Customers must give accurate passenger and luggage information when booking.

Vehicle capacity differs by vehicle class. Large suitcases, wheelchairs, pushchairs, golf bags, sports equipment or other large items should be mentioned before travel.

We may need to provide a larger vehicle if the requested vehicle cannot safely carry all passengers and luggage.

Passengers must not ask a driver to carry more people than the vehicle can legally accommodate.

Child Seats

Child seats may be available when requested during booking.

Please tell us the number and approximate age of children travelling so that suitable arrangements can be discussed.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for ensuring that the information provided about the child is correct.

Changes to a Booking

If you need to change:

  • Pickup time
  • Pickup address
  • Destination
  • Flight details
  • Passenger number
  • Luggage
  • Vehicle requirements

contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but availability cannot always be guaranteed.

A major booking change may affect the price.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel a booking, contact us as soon as possible by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

Passenger Delays and No-Shows

Passengers should be ready at the agreed pickup place at the agreed time.

If a passenger cannot be found, we may attempt to contact them using the details supplied during booking.

A booking may count as a no-show if the passenger does not appear within the applicable waiting period and cannot be contacted.

Any no-show charge should follow the policy communicated during booking.

Driver or Vehicle Changes

We may provide a different vehicle of a similar or higher suitable category where necessary because of availability, maintenance, safety or operational reasons.

We may also change the assigned driver.

Any replacement vehicle must remain suitable for the booked number of passengers and declared luggage.

Delays Outside Our Control

Travel times can change because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Accidents
  • Road closures
  • Severe weather
  • Police restrictions
  • Airport disruption
  • Public events
  • Strikes
  • Mechanical emergencies

We will take reasonable steps to complete the journey safely, but estimated arrival times cannot amount to an absolute guarantee.

Passengers should allow enough time when travelling for a flight, train, appointment or event.

Passenger Behaviour

Passengers must behave in a safe and respectful way.

Drivers may refuse or stop a journey where a passenger:

  • Threatens the driver or other passengers
  • Causes a serious safety risk
  • Damages the vehicle
  • Carries illegal goods
  • Behaves in a violent or abusive way

Customers may need to pay for damage caused deliberately or through serious misuse, where permitted by law.

Smoking, Food and Alcohol

Smoking or vaping should not take place inside our vehicles.

Customers should ask before consuming food or alcohol inside a vehicle.

Applicable Spanish laws and safety requirements always apply.

Lost Property

If you believe you left an item in one of our vehicles, contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to locate the item, but we cannot guarantee recovery of lost property.

The customer may need to cover reasonable delivery or shipping costs if an item has to be returned.

We try to keep route information, prices, travel times, vehicle details and service descriptions accurate.

Travel times and distances shown on the website are estimates and may change because of traffic, road conditions or the exact pickup and destination.

A price shown on an individual route page should be read together with the applicable vehicle type and booking details.
